Matthew 14:17-20

Littles Become Much

Five loaves of bread. Two fish. A crowd of five thousand people. The disciples looked at the math and declared it impossible. Jesus took what they had, gave thanks, and broke it.

There were twelve baskets of leftovers.

This is the central miracle of Widows Oil Ministry, repeated every single year. Last year, over 800 families received food. A thousand hygiene and cleaning supply bags went into homes. Sixteen bicycles went to children who had none. None of that happened because one person gave a large gift. It happened because hundreds of people offered their little — a food item here, a coat there, a small monthly donation — and God multiplied it.

We never look at what comes in and say “this is enough.” We also never look at it and say “this is too little.” We receive it with thanksgiving, break it, and distribute it. And every year, there is more than we expected.

God is not limited by the size of your gift. He is only limited by whether you offer it.

Whatever you have — bread or fish or five dollars or a box in your attic — bring it. Let us see what God does.
