Widows Oil Ministry volunteers serving the East Dublin community

About

Who We Are

Widows Oil Ministry Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in East Dublin, Georgia. Founded in 2018, we exist to love our neighbors like Jesus — wherever they are, whenever they need us, however love needs to take shape in that moment.

We are not a large organization. We are a community of people who believe that small gifts, offered faithfully, are multiplied by God into something far greater than any of us could accomplish alone.

The Story of the Oil

In 2 Kings 4, a widow came to the prophet Elisha with almost nothing — just a small jar of oil and a debt so large it threatened to take her children. Elisha told her to gather vessels from her neighbors and pour. She poured from her little jar into every container she could find.

The oil did not stop flowing until the last vessel was full. Her debt was paid. Her family was saved. The limit was never in God's provision — only in how many containers she gathered.

That is our story. We gather the littles from our community — food, furniture, hygiene supplies, time, money — and watch God pour through them into the lives of our neighbors. We are always gathering more vessels. We are always making room for more.

— 2 Kings 4:1-7

Pamela Otts

Founder & Executive Director

Pamela Otts founded Widows Oil Ministry in East Dublin, Georgia in 2018 after a conviction that loving her neighbors was not a metaphor — it was a calling. Under her leadership, the ministry has grown from a small community effort to a recognized 501(c)(3) organization serving hundreds of families annually.

Pamela's approach is simple: show up, pour out, trust God with the rest. Her devotional writing and community leadership embody the widow's oil spirit — bringing what she has, gathering as many vessels as she can, and watching provision flow.

Our Values

Neighbor Love

We love our neighbors in practical, tangible ways — not as a program, but as a calling.

Faith in Action

We believe that small gifts offered in faith are multiplied by God beyond what we can plan.

Community Partnership

We gather vessels — individuals, churches, businesses — and let provision flow through all of us.

Dignity Always

Every person we serve is made in the image of God. We treat them accordingly, without exception.

Local Roots

We are from East Dublin. We know our neighbors by name. That local knowledge is our greatest asset.

Faithful Stewardship

Every dollar and every hour given to this ministry is a sacred trust. We take that seriously.
